“We, who live in the Czech Republic, but are the natives of Russia, Belarus, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the other countries, are striving to make connections not only between us, but also with the Czech citizens. Therefore, the Day of People’s Unity is an ever-relevant holiday to serve our cause,” remarks the Chair of the Ostrava Russian House, Ms. Anna Stukhlikova.

Even though this year’s pandemic did not allow for the event to be rendered in the live edition, its participants managed to transfer it to the online format. Opened by the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Ostrava Mr. Aleš Zedník, the concert is highly recommended to all amateurs of Russian romance, instrumental music and the golden hits of Soviet rock.
