Tell us a little bit about yourself, please.

– Hello everybody! I am Zhang Jiarui from Chengdu. I'm a 12-year-old boy, now I'm studying in Yucai Middle School Attached to Chengdu No. 7 High School, Xuedao Campus. I'm in Class 5 Grade 7. I am a cheerful boy. I like street dancing, swimming, playing basketball. I hope to become friends with you!

Why did you choose this particular spot for the video?

– Eastern Suburb of Chengdu Memory Art District, located in East Second Ring Road, Chengdu. It was Hongguang Electronic Tube Factory before, which was one of the 156 aiding China projects in "the first five" period of the Soviet Union. Covering an area of 282 mu, Hongguang Electronic Tube Factory, which was founded in the 1950s, played an important role in the industrial history of new China. With the needs of social development, the site was kept, as well as the memories of the young fighters. To recall the memory of industrial civilization in Eastern Suburb, it has been turned into a historical and cultural base with the theme of industry and art, giving the area a new life again.

It keeps the youth memory of our predecessors' struggle, and also marks the prosperous industry in Chengdu. Today, with the urban appearance becoming more and more assimilated, it has left the genes of our city and exuded the unique charm of Chengdu.

As time goes by, Eastern Suburb Memory is never fading, and it witnesses the long history of the friendship between China and Russia.

If you found yourself in Volgograd for a whole day, what would you like to see and do?

– I want to see the Volga River, the longest river in Europe; to see the panorama of the battle of Stalingrad, which bears the history of Volgograd in World War II; to try black caviar, a local delicacy; to meet some kids of the same age in Volga Grad…
