Today I'd like to talk about the great rivers in Qujing, Yunnan.

A river is a natural stream of water flowing over land along a channel, and most of them carry freshwater. Rivers are everywhere in our life, and Qujing is lucky to have many beautiful and important ones.

Next, let's come to the Source of the Pearl River. It's located right in Qujing, from Maxiong Mountain. It's the birthplace of the Pearl River, with clean streams through green forests. It has great natural beauty and important water value, a great start of China's Pearl River.

Then, let's learn about the major rivers in Qujing one by one. First is Jiulong River in Luoping. It's famous for Jiulong Waterfalls, with clean water running down high mountains. There are many waterfalls and green trees here, so beautiful that many tourists come to enjoy it every year.

The second one is also in Luoping—Duoyi River. It's a gentle, clear stream winding through karst hills, with shallow shoals, tiny waterfalls and lush bamboo groves. It's so peaceful and a perfect place to enjoy nature's soft beauty.

Next is Kuaize River in Fuyuan. It runs through mountain areas, winding around villages and feeding local farmland. It mixes rugged mountain views with clear gurgling water, and it's not just a lifeline for locals, but also a lovely natural landscape.

Then we have the grand Jinsha River in Huize. It cuts through deep canyons with powerful surging currents, forming amazing dry-hot valley scenery with vast waters. It's a magnificent wonder that shows nature's awesome power.

The last major river is Beipan River in Qujing's Xuanwei. It has deep canyons and clear water, forming amazing valleys and bridges. It's an important river that supports local life and shows beautiful natural scenery.

After knowing these rivers, we must understand their great value and importance to Qujing.
